Lemon Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 egg
    2 to 4 tsp. grated lemon peel
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Blend flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nuts.
    Set aside. Combine egg with lemon peel and beat well.
    Combine with remaining liquid ingredients in order.
    Beat well.
    Add the liquid mixture all at once to the dry ingredients and stir until just moistened. Turn into 2 buttered loaf pans.
