Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. softened margarine
6 eggs
5 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. boiling water
2 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
3 oz. bottle lemon extract or use 1 oz. and add 2 oz. water
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each.
Add lemon extract and flour, one cup at a time.
Add soda, nuts and raisins.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Makes 2 loaf pans, greased and floured.
