Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1 stick margarine
    1 lb. box light brown sugar, sifted
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. evaporated milk
    2 tsp. maple flavoring
Preparation
    Cream shortening, margarine and brown sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift dry ingredients and add them alternately with milk.
    Add flavoring.
    Pour mixture into greased and floured tube pan; bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
