Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. wheat germ
3 medium very ripe bananas, mashed (1 c.)
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. oil
4 egg whites
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Mix in wheat germ.
Add all remaining ingredients and beat well.
Place in an oiled 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until done.
Yields 1 loaf (16 slices), approximately 130 calories per serving (1 slice).
