Aunt Hilda'S Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    5 large eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sweet milk or 2/3 c. sweet and 1/2 c. canned milk
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. walnut flavoring
Preparation
    Cream the margarine and Crisco well.
    Add sugar (mix brown and white sugars together).
    Beat real well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating at least 1 per minute.
    Add flour and milk alternately. Stir in flavoring and nuts.
    Pour in greased and floured tube pan and place in cold oven.
    Turn to 325\u00b0 and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
    Do not open oven door until cake has baked at least 1 hour.
    (May need to be cooked 15 minutes longer.)
