Old Fashioned Bread Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. water
    12 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 c. diced celery
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
Preparation
    Chop onions fine. Cook in butter until soft, but not brown. Add bread crumbs, water, celery, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
    Mix well.
    If not moist enough, add more water or butter.
    Makes enough for a 12 to 15 pound turkey.
