Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. margarine (soft)
1/2 c. salad oil
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. regular oatmeal (uncooked)
1/4 c. pecans
Preparation

Combine sugar, brown sugar, margarine, oil, egg and vanilla in a large mixing bowl; mix well.
Combine flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar; add to creamed mixture, mixing until well blended.
Stir in cereal, coconut, oatmeal and nuts.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet 1 inch apart; flatten with fork.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Yields 5 1/2 dozen.
