Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream butter and brown sugar in bowl until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
    Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add pecans and chocolate chips; mix well.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until cookies spring back when lightly touched.
    Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute.
    Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
    May make giant cookies by using ice cream scoop and flattening with floured hand.
    Yield:
    36 servings.
