Dishpan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shortening
    2 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. raisins
    3 c. quick oats
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. chocolate chips
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Lightly beat the eggs, add the vanilla and combine with the first mixture.
    Add the oats and beat again.
    Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
    These cookies may be made into drop cookies, or you may wish to add extra flour and form into rolls and refrigerate.
    After chilling, cut into slices and bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
