Ingredients

1 1/2 c. margarine, melted
1/2 c. molasses
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (approximately)
4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation

Mix margarine, molasses, sugar and eggs.
Beat well.
Add dry ingredients.
Mix until all ingredients are moistened.
If dough is not stiff enough, add more flour.
Refrigerate dough several hours or overnight.
Make into small balls and roll in granulated sugar.
Do not flatten.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 8 to 10 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
Store in airtight container.
