Okra Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. evaporated milk or 1/3 c. milk
1 large egg
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper
2 c. sliced fresh okra
oil/salt (optional)
Preparation

Combine first 9 ingredients; stir in okra.
Heat oil to 350\u00b0. Drop by tablespoons into oil.
Drain on paper towels; sprinkle with salt.
Serve immediately.
