Ingredients

1/2 c. corn oil
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted (4 oz.)
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
powdered sugar (to dip cookies in)
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix oil, melted chocolate and sugar.
Blend in 1 egg at a time until well mixed.
Add vanilla.
Stir in salt, flour and baking powder.
Chill dough overnight.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Drop teaspoonful of dough balls into confectioners sugar.
Roll around until coated.
Place about 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Cookies will crack while baking. Add 1/2 cup pecans, if desired.
Yield:
50 cookies.
