Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
4 egg whites
1 1/2 c. flour
grated rind of 1 lemon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add egg whites, sifted dry ingredients, milk, nuts and grated lemon rind.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
When baked, pour juice of one lemon and 1/3 cup sugar mixed together over bread while hot.
