Viennese Jam-Filled Cookies(Rich, Luscious Sandwich Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. ground blanched almonds
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (1 c.)
    1/2 c. raspberry jam
    1/2 c. finely chopped almonds
Preparation
    In a medium bowl combine flour and baking powder.
    Set aside. In a large bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in ground almonds and lemon juice.
    Gradually stir in flour mixture just until dough is smooth and forms a ball.
    Shape in two 2-inch diameter rolls.
    Wrap tight.
    Chill 4 hours or until firm.
