Ingredients

1 stick margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
3 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sour cream (more if needed)
Preparation

Cream margarine; add sugar and egg.
Cream well.
Mix dry ingredients and add, alternating, with the sour cream (may mix in by hand).
Chill dough.
