Soft Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix and cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Sift twice: flour, tartar, soda and salt.
Mix together with creamed ingredients.
Flatten on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
