Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. cream cornstarch
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 c. butter (no substitutes)
Preparation
    Sift together flour, cornstarch and sugar.
    Cream in butter and mix as you would for pie crust.
    When well mixed, put in an ungreased square pan and pat in evenly.
    Then pick the entire surface with a fork, as you would a pie shell.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool.
    Cut into squares and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
    Do not spare the sugar!
