Pinwheel Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. ground dates
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 c. ground walnuts
    1 c. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook dates, sugar and water for 10 minutes.
    Add walnuts; set aside.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Chill.
    Divide into 4 parts. Roll; spread filling and roll up.
    Freeze for easier cutting. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
