Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick cooking oats
pinch of salt
1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
Preparation

Mix sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine in a 3-quart saucepan. Heat on medium heat until it starts to boil, stirring constantly. Boil for about 3 to 5 minutes; continue stirring.
Remove from heat and let cool 1 minute.
Add vanilla, peanut butter, salt and oats; stir well.
Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper.
Let cool.
