Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Mix together the first 3 ingredients.
    Sift together the remaining ingredients.
    Make dough and chill. Roll into balls the size of walnuts (1 teaspoonful). Roll ball in a mixture of 2 tablespoons each sugar and cinnamon.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
