Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. lard (large)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    2 tsp. soda (large)
    3 Tbsp. vinegar (finish c. with sweet milk)
Preparation
    Beat sugar, salt and eggs together.
    Add lard, molasses and 1/2 vinegar milk mix.
    Pour rest of vinegar milk mix into separate bowl and add baking soda.
    Add alternately with 4 to 5 cups of flour to make batter quite stiff.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Drop from floured spoon and bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Nuts may be added to batter.
