Apricot Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dried apricots
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. soft butter
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cover apricots in warm water and soak 30 minutes.
Drain and cut with scissors.
Cream sugar and butter; add egg.
Add water and juice.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to other sugar-egg mixture.
Blend in nuts and apricots.
