Plum Strawberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. raisins
1 c. brandy or grape juice
1 pt. strawberries (fresh or frozen)
2 c. blended plums
2 c. blended prunes
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. melted butter
2 Tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs, beaten
4 c. plain flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt, baking powder and cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine raisins, brandy or grape juice and enough water to cover raisins in a saucepan.
Bring back to a simmer, cool and drain.
Grease and flour three 5 x 9-inch loaf pans or muffins. Mash or chop strawberries.
Combine with remaining wet ingredients and stir.
Combine with dry ingredients and mix well.
Divide evenly among pans and bake for about 1 hour.
