Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 can crushed pineapple with juice
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs.
Stir in pineapple.
Measure flour by dipping or sifting.
Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
Blend in nuts and coconut.
Chill at least 1 hour.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
