Cinnamon Ornaments - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. allspice
    2 Tbsp. ground cloves
    1 Tbsp. nutmeg
    1 c. applesauce
Preparation
    Combine first four items.
    Blend well.
    Stir in applesauce. Mix well.
    Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness between 2 pieces of wax paper.
    Cut with cookie cutters.
    Put hole through top of ornament using a straw.
    Pick up shape with spatula.
    Put on cookie sheet. Let dry uncovered 4 to 5 days.
    Put ribbon through hole.
    Store in Ziploc bags when not in use.
