Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. soft shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 to 3)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease pan.
    Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    With electric mixer at medium speed thoroughly mix shortening with sugar, then with eggs until very light and fluffy, about 4 minutes.
    Then at low speed or blend beat in flour mixture alternately with bananas, just until smooth. Turn into pan.
    Bake 1 hour or until done.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove.
    (Cool overnight before slicing.)
