Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat eggs in until blended.
Stir in flour alternately with sour milk.
(One cup of milk and 1 tablespoon of vinegar will make sour milk.)
Chill dough overnight or a few hours.
Roll out and cut in desired shapes.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
Makes about 3 dozen soft cookies.
