Mexican Wedding Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter, softened
    2 c. all purpose flour
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
    About 1-1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. With electric mixer, beat butter and 1/2 c. powdered sugar. Add vanilla. Combine flour, salt and nuts; stir into sugar mixture. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes until lightly brown. While hot, roll in reserved powdered sugar (1-1/2 cups). Cool on a rack, and then roll again in powdered sugar to coat. Cinnamon may also be added to the coating. Makes at least 4 dozen cookies.
