Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
    1 (7 1/4 oz.) pkg. Angel Flake coconut
    10 dates, cut up
    10 maraschino cherries, drained and cut up
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix well and drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 until light brown. Remove from cookie sheet at once with spatula. Keep mixture stirred before dropping on cookie sheet so all the milk won't go to the bottom.
    They may run on cookie sheet, but they will shape up into balls when removed while hot. (You may add more dates and cherries.
    Also, red and green maraschino cherries are pretty for Christmas.)
