Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. liquid shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with bananas.
    Stir in nuts.
    Bake in 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
