Ingredients

1 (7 1/2 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
2 eggs
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar or coconut
Preparation

Put dates, eggs, butter and sugar in skillet.
Cook 15 minutes over low heat; stir.
This will make thick syrup while hot.
Add Rice Krispies, pecans and vanilla; stir well.
Form into balls; roll in powdered sugar or coconut.
