Oatmeal Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 (18 oz.) jar chunky peanut butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    4 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    6 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation
    Beat butter and peanut butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy.
    Gradually add sugars, beating well.
    Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
    Combine oats and baking soda; add to butter mixture, mixing well.
    Stir in chocolate morsels (by hand). Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 9 to 10 minutes.
    Cool on cookie sheets for 5 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
    Yields 7 dozen.
