Apple Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
    4 eggs
    4 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. chopped peeled apples
    2/3 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla; beat well.
    Combine the dry ingredients; gradually add to the sugar mixture.
    Fold in the apples, raisins and walnuts.
    Pour into two greased and floured 9 X 5 X 3 inch loaf pans.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
    Makes 2 loaves.
