Ingredients

2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar, beating well.
Add a pinch of salt.
Fold in chocolate chips, nuts and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased foil lined cookie sheet and place in preheated oven. Turn oven off, close door and leave cookies inside for about 8 hours.
Yield: 3 dozen.
