Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2-1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. margarine, divided
    2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, milk, cocoa, and syrup in a heavy sauce pan. Cook, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
    Add 2 Tbsp. margarine, stir until well blended.
    Bring to a boil;
    cover and boil 3 minutes.
    Uncover and keep boiling until candy thermometer reaches 234\u00b0.
    Remove from heat, add remaining margarine, nuts, peanut butter and vanilla.
    Cool slightly.
    Beat until smooth. Pour into a greased 9 inch square pan.
