Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
    jelly , almonds or chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat yolks until foamy and yellow color.
    Add butter, sugar and vanilla; mix well.
    Add flour gradually and combine thoroughly.
    Pinch off pieces of mixture size of a marble.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Make a thumb print in each and fill with jelly, almonds or chocolate chips (optional).
    Bake for 10 minutes.
    Watch carefully, they will not turn brown.
    The bottom will get very light brown.
    Makes 4 dozen.
