Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Into a mixture of 1 3/4 cups of water and the juice of one lemon, slice 3 large ripe bananas.
This is to keep the bananas and the bread turning dark when cooked.
