Dixie'S Orange Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shredded orange rind
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. orange juice
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in butter until mixture is like corn meal.
    Squeeze orange for juice.
    Shred the orange rind; combine with the orange juice, egg and sugar. Stir liquid mixture into dry ingredients just enough to moisten. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
