Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. low-fat butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. milk
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and flavoring.
    Add milk; stir in flour mixture until blended.
    Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.
    Roll out dough; cut with cookie cutters.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes on greased sheet until golden brown.
    Yield:
    25 cookies. Carbohydrate 11 g, protein 1 g, fat 3 g, calories per cookie 75. Four cookies = 1 fruit exchange, 1/2 fat exchange.
