Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. soda
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 medium ripe bananas
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in mashed bananas, then add dry ingredients; mix well.
Add nuts.
Grease and flour 8 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Will freeze well.
