Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil (Crisco, Wesson)
4 eggs
1/4 c. orange or pineapple juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking powder
4 to 5 apples, cored, peeled and sliced
cinnamon and additional sugar
Preparation

Place first 7 ingredients into a bowl in order given.
Beat until smooth.
Place 1/3 of batter into a greased tube pan. Arrange apple slices on top of batter.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Repeat two more times.
(Batter, apples, cinnamon and sugar.)
Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Cool slightly and remove from pan.
