Mexican Wedding Cakes (Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (margarine)
    1/3 c. 4x or 10x sugar
    1 c. sifted flour
    dash of salt
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar.
    Add flour, salt and extract.
    Beat hard.
    Roll dough into log about 25-cent piece in diameter.
    Cut in 3/4-inch slices.
    Bake on ungreased tray at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Roll in powdered sugar while still hot.
    Makes 2 dozen (3/4-inch) cookies.
