Ingredients

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In small bowl, combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
In large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy.
Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in semi-sweet morsels and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 to 11 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen 2 1/4 inch cookies.
