Sweet Potato Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
2 c. cooked sweet potatoes, mashed
4 eggs, well beaten
1 1/4 c. oil or melted shortening
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Place all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
With spoon, make a deep well in the center and all the ingredients.
Stir carefully, just enough to dampen all the dry ingredients.
Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Slice and spread with a mixture of 3 ounces of cream cheese and 3 ounces of butter.
May be used as a dessert.
Makes 2 loaves.
