Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with bananas to above mixture.
Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
