Sally Lunn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
6 Tbsp. butter, softened
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Warm milk over medium heat in a small saucepan.
Put warm water in small bowl.
Stir in yeast and warm milk.
Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.
Add eggs and beat.
Stir flour and salt together in another bowl.
Stir 1 cup flour mixture into butter and sugar mixture.
Then stir in about 1/3 of the yeast mixture. Continue to alternate flour and yeast.
Beat the batter until smooth.
Cover large mixing bowl and let the batter rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Remove the cover and stir batter quickly.
