Rigsby Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    1 c. scalded milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 well beaten eggs
    5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water with sugar.
    Add milk, Crisco, eggs and salt.
    Place in greased bowl; let rise (1 hour) in warm place. Punch down; divide in half.
    Put in pan; let rise 30 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
