Chicago Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. cornflakes
    1 c. quick oats
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking soda and salt onto waxed paper.
    Preheat oven to moderate (350\u00b0).
    Beat butter, margarine, sugars, egg, milk and vanilla in bowl until well blended.
    Stir flour mixture alternately with oil in sugar and butter mixture until mixture is thoroughly mixed.
    Stir in cornflakes, oats and chocolate.
    Drop heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets, 2-inches apart. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool on wire racks.
