Norwegian Lace Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (must use butter)
    1 1/2 c. rolled oats
    1 egg
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Melt butter in small saucepan and pour over oatmeal.
    Beat egg until light and beat in the sugar.
    Mix together the flour and baking powder and stir into the egg mixture along with the oatmeal mixture.
    Drop heaping teaspoonfuls of batter onto greased and floured baking sheet, 2 or 3 inches apart.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
    Remove from oven and let stand about 1 minute.
    Quickly lift out cookies.
