Ingredients

2 small pkg. dates
1/2 lb. candied cherries
6 slices candied pineapple
1/2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. walnuts
2 c. pecans
Preparation

Cut up dates, cherries and pineapple until fine.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup flour over fruit and let stand overnight.
Cream butter and brown sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Sift flour, cinnamon, soda and salt.
Add to walnuts and pecans.
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
